Rethink Your Drink....
The Health Department will have healthy water options in the office kitchen all week.

Just a reminder of usage recommendations for IStation:
Students should not exceed 40 minutes per week, per subject in IStation curriculum.
Students working below level should spend 40 minutes per week, and those working on level should work for only 30 minutes per week.

Exceeding these usage recommendations will not increase I Station scores, but rather have an adverse impact on student progress. I Station is a tool, it does not take the place of quality teacher instruction and or small group instruction. It is also not a behavior management tool.

If students do not have time to complete a lesson in IStation - usually minimum of 20 minutes they have to start that lesson over.

Happy Birthday

  • Hi Melissa,

Did you know that ReadWorks has audio support available for every reading passage?

All you need to do to start assigning audio is to create a digital class.

Audio can provide access to knowledge and vocabulary above the reading level of your students. It can also be used to support students that are reading below grade level to help them access the same content and information as their peers.

Questions and vocabulary also come with audio versions.

    Happy teaching!
    Susanne from ReadWorks
