  • Time to begin the F & P November assessments.  Please be sure you update your Running Records Tracker on the Google Drive.  You will notice I have added additional information (2nd - 6th grade) concerning 1st quarter grades and color coding student F & P levels.  Wonderings.....If you are red in F & P and Star..... does your 1st quarter grade reflect that?  We will be having this conversation as we use data to drive instruction.  If you are struggling with F&P we have two excellent Instructional Coaches - Ashleigh and Carrie that can assist you.  Do not hesitate to reach out.

Second quarter assessments will quickly be upon us (December 1st)!  The elementary assessment will cover the following:

  • Science (grades 4 and 5)
  • Math (grades 1-6)
  • Writing Sample (grades K-6)*  I will provide information on the writing sample as soon as I receive it.
The science and math performance assessments will be delivered and scored using Mastery Connect, the new OKCPS digital assessment platform!  If you are struggling with Mastery Connect, please see Kim Hunt (our Mastery Connect building expert).
