  • Wednesday, November 13th:  Regular Day.  Dye out for PD, Ident A Kid, Picture Retake Day
  • Thursday, November 14th  Math in Focus Training @Cleveland Elementary.  3rd Harris A.M.  2nd Ferguson P.M.
  • Friday, November 15th:  IStation Training AM Lundy, O'Shields, Cappellero, Navarro, PM  Brett, Dye, Hunt, Jackson @Walnut Square

What are our goals for the 2nd Quarter?  We are working towards student academic improvement and success with SMART goals.
ELA

By the end of the 2nd quarter, 19% of the 4th-grade students will score proficient in Standards 4.2 and 4.3 as measured by the district benchmark.
By the end of the 2nd quarter, 15% of the 3rd-grade students will score proficient in ELA Standards 3.2 and 3.3 as measured by the comprehensive benchmark.
By the end of the 2nd quarter, 33% (Level 3, 4, or 5) of the 2nd-grade students will score proficient in Comprehension and 26% on Vocabulary (Level 3, 4, or 5) as measured by the Istation assessment.

Math

By the end of the 2nd quarter, 22% of the 4th-grade students will score proficient on Math Standards of numbers sense and operations
By the end of the 2nd quarter, 14% of the 3rd-grade students will score proficient on the Math Standards of numbers sense and operations
By the end of the 2nd quarter, 38% of the 2nd-grade students will score proficient (Level 3, 4 or 5) on the Math Assessment as measured on IStation.

Congratulations! Your class read the very most over the Fall Reading Challenge and was the top class at your school - way to go!

  1. I have been using flashcards for letter recognition and letter sounds. Its quick and easy. I also work one on one with math and reading.
