Attaining Learning Outcomes = Higher Achievement

Word of the Week:  Honesty

Ms. Werito's class will lead Rise N Shine this week.

Practice Focus:  #1  Educators and learners model desired behaviors and attitudes such as those set forth in the Life Principles and the Eight Expectations for Living.

  • Meet and greet learners as they enter the learning environment.  Each day is a fresh start!
  • Set goals. Make learning objectives clear to learners.
  • Extend a friendly, encouraging attitude to all.  Demonstrate respect for all.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm in all things.  Enthusiasm is contagious!
  • Establish procedures and expectations early!  Practice those procedures!
  • Find strengths in every learner and focus on those strengths daily.  Mistakes are "okay".
  • Foster an atmosphere where learners are led to be responsible for their own actions/behaviors.
  • Allow for individual differences socially, academically, and emotionally.
  • Monday:  Cramer out of the building.  Running Records assessments continue.  Be sure to update your Running Records form on the Google Drive.  Turn in your Parent Teacher Conference sign in sheets.

The 5 Priorities of Classroom Management

To Develop Every Child Into a Reader:
  • Everyday a child reads something they choose to read.
  • Every child reads accurately
  • Every child reads something they understand.
  • Every child writes something that is personal and meaningful daily.

  1. In the video the coach did a good job of keeping Antwon engaged and giving him responsibility. He taught him about constructive criticism and how it can make people better. (Mark Christian)
