Tuesday - Teacher Work Day.
Wednesday - First Day of School. Lesson Plans due 7:30 a.m. in Google Drive. Benchmark Literacy - The First 20 Days of School - Day 1. Procedure lessons. Short meeting in library 3:30 after school.
Thursday - First Rise N Shine. Please be in the gym at 8:00 a.m.
Friday - Rise N Shine. First Friday of the year.
Benchmark Literacy Tools to Guide Your Year:
First 20 Days - The First 20 Days lessons are based on “The First 30 Days Rituals and Routines” from Benchmark Literacy. The 30 lessons have been condensed to 20 priority lessons which establish the foundation for a successful literacy block. These lessons are critical in developing rituals and routines as well as building common language throughout grade levels across the district. The First 20 Days lessons are a district expectation, though there are additional lessons from the First 30 Days that can be utilized where necessary.
