Interactive Instruction
Istation’s Interactive Instruction provides:
  • Multi-tiered, individualized student scope and sequence based on ISIP™ results
  • Systematic, explicit delivery of research-based direct instruction and practice
  • Differentiated skill instruction based on informal scope, sequence assessments, and student interaction
  • Carefully organized instructional plan that includes pre-teaching a skill before application in isolation, teaching through guided practice, and independent application
  • Numerous skill review and practice opportunities
  • Frequent student interaction and engaging multimedia teaching techniques that maximize opportunities to learn and practice skills
  • Multiple opportunities to review hundreds of books, passages, and skills
Students move forward through the Istation Interactive Instruction at their own pace. Because the Interactive Instruction is designed to automatically place students at their individual instructional level, students and teachers do not choose what activities to complete, nor can students be moved backward in the instruction. Istation performance is not intended to be used for classroom grades.
Students who complete the available Interactive Instruction will move into a new section of practice and repetition. In this area, students can reread texts, listen to songs, and interact with activities they have seen. As soon as new Interactive Instruction is released, students move back into the Interactive Instruction part of the program.

Happy Birthday

Procedures Procedures Procedures

Be sure you are teaching procedures to your students.  If you don't let children know your expectations it makes it very difficult for them to meet them.  If you need a set of Coolidge Procedures to display in your classroom please check with Ms. Gonzalez in the front office.
